This humongous fort, built entirely in red sandstone has been the royal residence of Mughal Dynasty for over 200 years. Later, the capital of Mughal Dynasty was shifted to Delhi and another identical Red Fort was established in Delhi.
Itimad-Ud-Daulah

Popularly known as The Baby Taj, Itimad-Ud-Daulah is a fascinating palace built out of white marble. It is said to be the draft of Taj Mahal and is almost equally as wonderful as the Taj itself.
Fatehpur Sikri

Just west of Agra is the city of Fatehpur Sikri which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site as it houses innumerous architectural wonders within its complex. Major monuments in the complex are Buland Darwaza, Jama Mosque, Fort of Sheikh Salim Chishti, Jodhabai’s Palace and many more.
