Visit Places in Mathura

The land of Mathura has great sanctity among the Hindus as it is famed as the birthplace of much loved deity Lord Krishna. The entire land is dotted with splendid temples, dedicated to various aspects of the Lord’s life. The streets and ghats of the city still resound to the chores and magical flute of Krishna.

Mathura is crowned as one of the seven sacred cities in Hinduism and floods with pilgrims particularly during Krishna Janmashtami (Krishna’s Birthday). The city is stretched along the Yamuna river which together makes 25 sacred ghats in the city. The festival of holi is celebrated in one of the most passionate fashions here.
