Outstation Roundtrip car rental fares constitute of various components as below:

  1. Fare-Per KM Rate: This is the base rate which will be charged on every km travelled. The rate per km varies with car model. Note: DAJ Travel Taxis does not charge customers for garage to garage distance unlike our competitors. With DAJ Travel Taxis, you have to pay only for actual meter reading starting from 0 (from your pick up point and drop point must be same if another place then from your drop point to pick up point we charge extra) or as agreed at the time of booking.
  2. Minimum KM charged per day: There is a minimum distance which will be charged for every day of usage. In case the actual travelled distance is higher, the latter will be charged. Generally, the minimum distance charged per day is 250 km. Please consider the following example for clarity: If you are using a vehicle for 4 days, you will be charged for a minimum distance of 3*250=1000 km. For an extra kms you pay on actual kms travelled.
  3. Driver Day Allowance: For a TAXI used between 5AM to 10PM, you are required to pay Rs.250/ as driver Day Allowance.
  4. Night Charges: For a TAXI used between 10PM to 5AM, you are required to pay Rs.250/ as driver night charges per night.
  5. Toll, Parking and State taxes: Toll, Parking and State tax will be charged on actual basis where ever applicable and you need to pay cash. Note : Mostly, State Tax is paid on daily, monthly or quarterly basis by drivers on behalf of customers to the concerned Government department, in which case an actual or equivalent approximate fair amount will be charged. You can always call us at our helpline in case of any discrepancy.
  6. Definition of a day: Day is defined as 12 midnight to next day 12 midnight for all the calculation purposes.

So Calculation for Outstation round trip as follows:

= Traveled Km/(Min per day km limit*no of days)-(whichever is max) * per km rate of chosen car model + Driver allowance * No. of days + Driver night allowance * No of night usage = Total

= Total + (toll, parking, State tax on actual) + (total*Service tax %) = Grant Net total Cost for the trip

= Grant Net total Cost for the trip – Less adv. Paid to DAJ Travel – Adv. Paid to driver during the trip = Net Payable to Driver for the trip end

Note: If toll charges, parking and state tax paid by hirer on actual basis where ever applicable then did not add in the calculation in the end.

Outstation one-way car rental fares is Fixed cost which include base cost (fixed by DAJ Travel), Toll charges, State tax, Driver day 7 Night allowance. Only Parking will be extra paid by Hirer on actual basis where ever applicable.

So Calculation for Outstation One way as follows:

= Total + Parking(if any) + (total*Service tax %) = Grant Net total Cost for the trip

Local full day car rental is provide by DAJ Travel in fixed cost basis. The fixed cost varies with car model. This Fixed cost is applicable for 8hrs.*80km only other then this Extra km and hours will be chargeable as per car model extra per km rate & hour charges basis.(distance calculate from garage to garage-maximum 15 km one side).

So Calculation for Local full day package as follows:

= Base cost + extra km *(extra km rate) + extra hour * (extra hour rate) = Total

= Total + (toll, parking on actual) +(total*Service tax %) = Grant Net total Cost for the trip

Airport Transfer Pick up/drop car rental is provide by DAJ Travel in fixed cost basis. The Fixed Cost varies with car model. This base rate is applicable for/to Airport to your destination.

If you cancel the booking 24 hours prior to the time of journey, full advance paid by you at time of booking will be refunded. No amount will be refunded in case of cancellation within 24 hours to the time of journey.
